What if you want to invoke the subscript feature without selecting any text? Is there a way to engage it, type what you want, and disengage it without taking your hands off the keyboard?

But how do i make subscript UNDER other characters. I am typing up a contract, and I want to have a blank field, and then a label under that blank field (i.e. signature, name, date).

I tried using the underline feature and it underlines the subscript instead of keeping a continuous line.

If I just put subscript in the middle of the blank field it breaks the line. How do I keep the line solid and put a subscript label beneath it?
