A while back I posted how to center paragraphs with OpenOffice Write/Microsoft Word… here’s how to do left and right aligns:
- CTRL+L will left align your paragraph or selected text
- CTRL+R will right align your paragraph or selected text

In Microsoft Office…
- CTRL+= on selected text will give you subscript
- CTRL+SHIFT+= on selected text will give you superscript
In OpenOffice Write…
- CTRL+SHIFT+B on selected text will give you subscript
- CTRL+SHIFT+P on selected text will give you superscript

To add a Page Break in a Microsoft Word document, just press CTRL+Enter.

In Word/OO Write, just select the text you want centered and press CTRL+E.

CTRL+A will work in most GNOME/Windows applications that have areas for text to be entered.
Need to clear everything out? CTRL+A followed by a backspace or delete.
